I am a Licensed Massage + Polarity Therapist after graduating from the Holistic Massage Therapy Program at Spa Tech Institute in Westbrook, ME. I have also received clinical training, including advanced myofascial techniques with MaryAnn Butts, owner and LMT at Portland Massage Company.
I intuitively use a combination of Myofascial Release, Reflexology, Neuromuscular, Swedish, Polarity, Range of Motion, and Stretching techniques to get you the relief - and relaxation your body, your mind AND your spirit deserve.
I have had successful practices in Mars Hill, Houlton and South Portland, ME - and most recently was part of a holistic healing center in Cornish, called Mind Body Soul Holistic Wellness Center, in the beautiful foothills of Cornish.

I am currently scheduling clients on Thursdays and Fridays from 10-6 and on Saturdays from 10-4. Please contact me directly to set up your time.
I am currently using my blog to share some of my mother's writings. My mother, Frances Johnson Mains passed away recently on 12/4/18. She was so gifted with the written word. A few months before she passed, we had located boxes of her writings and started reading them together during every visit. She loved it. It was a profound experience to be able to share her own beautifully written stories, prose, poetry and memories with her, during her dementia. We were working on digitizing each story, working towards publishing a book - even if it was for just special people. She always wanted to be a writer...but never deemed herself worthy. I wasn't really expecting to lose her in the middle of this project, even though she was 87. I so wanted her to hold her book, with her name on the cover, in her hands. However, I am going to keep taking baby steps towards publishing her book. She even gave me the name of the book on Thanksgiving. So, for the time being, my blog is being used solely as a place to share her stories - and many deep reflections on life that pertain to us all. Lots of wisdom.
